FROM THE ARCHITECT "The functional aesthetics of the rain water storage vessel was the perfect compliment to the porch.The flexibility to custom stain the Ong™ jar allowed us to match the stained concrete porch floor providing a “flowing” visual connection with the rain water storage vessel. In turn we deleted a standard downspout and substituted a more transparent rain chain adjacent to the lattice boards that evoked the “ripple effect” of water at this discharge connection.
